Michel Blanc is a French actor, director, and screenwriter born on April 16, 1957, in Courbevoie, France. He is well-known for his roles in films such as Les Bronzés (1978), Les Bronzés font du ski (1979), and Tenue de soirée (1986). Blanc began his career in the early 1980s, appearing in several stage productions before making his film debut in 1983's Papy fait de la résistance. In 1984, he co-founded the comedy troupe Les Nuls along with Chantal Lauby, Alain Chabat, and Dominique Farrugia. The troupe gained popularity for their absurdist humor and satirical sketches, which were often featured on the television show Canal+. Blanc has also directed several films, including Grosse fatigue (1994), Mauvais genres (2001), and Les Bronzés 3: Amis pour la vie (2006).
