Alan Wake 2 Coming to Physical Media
Collectors Edition
Remedy Entertainment has announced that Alan Wake 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2010 cult classic, will be available in physical form. The physical release will include a Deluxe Edition and a Collectors Edition.
Digital Expansion Pass
The physical Deluxe Edition will include the Alan Wake 2 Expansion Pass, which grants access to the game's upcoming expansion content. The Collectors Edition will include all the contents of the Deluxe Edition, as well as exclusive physical items such as a steelbook case, art book, and soundtrack.
Pre-Orders Available
Pre-orders for the physical editions of Alan Wake 2 will be available starting this week. The game is scheduled for release in 2023.
THQ Nordic's Interest
While Remedy Entertainment has yet to confirm a physical release for Alan Wake 2, publisher THQ Nordic has expressed interest in publishing a hard copy of the game. THQ Nordic previously published Alan Wake Remastered, the remastered version of the original game, in 2021.
Digital Release
Regardless of whether Alan Wake 2 receives a physical release, the game will be available in digital format on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
